Working from Home
A workforce-driven, licensed system expanding access to high-quality home-based childcare across Virginia.

🚀 U-LAUNCH: IT

U-Dream-It. Build-It. We-Approve-It. U-LAUNCH-IT

  Where workforce meets homegrown opportunity.

U-LAUNCH: IT is a Virginia-based workforce development organization and home-based business incubator that builds the systems, training, and oversight needed to launch legally compliant, income-generating enterprises.

We empower educators, caregivers, and skilled professionals to launch, operate, and sustain compliant home-based businesses that provide essential services, expand access to quality childcare, strengthen families, and build community wealth across the Commonwealth.

Through Registered Apprenticeship pathways, competency-based training, system-level oversight, and compliant business formation, U-LAUNCH enables individuals to work from home as essential workers—while building Virginia-registered, sustainable microbusinesses backed by real infrastructure and support.

Our Ecosystem

U-LAUNCH: IT operates an integrated system of workforce, quality, and business development platforms:

💜 U-LAUNCH: Childhood Development Homes (CDH)
A Virginia-licensed Family Day System that approves, monitors, and supports a network of home-based Childhood Development Homes through our Approved HOMES quality and oversight system.

💜 The Childcare Educator Operator (CEO)  Registered Apprenticeship
A U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship pathway that prepares individuals through paid On-the-Job Training and competency-based instruction to launch and operate legally compliant, high-quality home-based programs within the U-LAUNCH system.
This program embeds U-LAUNCH’s full competency framework and credential standards directly into the apprenticeship pathway.

💜 U-LAUNCH: CEO Academy
Our professional training and Related Technical Instruction (RTI) division, delivering competency-based, stackable instruction aligned with Virginia’s early childhood and workforce standards and integrated into the CEO Apprenticeship pathway.

Together, these platforms form a single, integrated pathway from idea → training → approval → launch → continuous improvement.
